Project Goals

• Take out the existing lawn in Front and on the side of property

• Plant trees, shrubs and ground cover for a lower-maintenance yard

• Create walking trails around the property that has easy access and low maintenance

• Make spaces to rest and enjoy the view 

• Remove poison ivy and invasive Buckthorn, Oriental Bittersweet and Burning Bush in lower field and meadow beyond

• Remove large Junipers blocking view from street to house

• Plant wildflower meadow in area adjacent to the stream bordered by bird-friendly shrubs

• Create natural but tidy gardens
